NOW AVAILABLE! Web-based training is offered in our Internet classroom on a monthly basis. It is the perfect solution when it is not possible to attend a regular training class. Use the Internet to learn from one of our instructors in a virtual classroom. Please contact us to find the next available class. Follow along as the instructor goes through all the steps of configuring the SMP Gateway.

Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Demand Response (DR) Project Facilitation For new projects, Cooper Power Systems assigns individual project managers upon receipt of a new system order and the project is ready to get underway. This way Cooper Power Systems can ensure your utility receives a project manager who can devote ample time to support and assist the utility in a successful deployment of their system. Cooper Power Systems has many qualified and project managers and technical consultants within our Customer Service department. Utilities can be confident that your project management team will have extensive knowledge of the solution and best practices when it comes to the deployment of your system. Upon receipt of order, Cooper Power Systems assigns a three-member team of project management professionals:
This team will facilitate your project including project schedule, materials procurement, shipment scheduling, project commissioning, system training, acceptance training, etc. The Cooper Power Systems team prides itself on comprehensive system implementation working hand in hand with your implementation team. For ongoing projects, our Customer Services team is available for technical support, training, and field services, including on-site commissioning services. Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Training For new projects, Cooper Power Systems offers a comprehensive training plan that will be tailored and customized to meet each utility’s needs. Cooper Power Systems recommends all initial training take place at the utility on its own system, where a train-the-trainer model is utilized. This allows the utility to implement a sustainable training model as the organization grows or personnel shift in their duties.

In addition, Cooper Power Systems provides user training at our annual Cooper EAS Users Conference, including presentations and training on a wide range of topics from basic operation of the system to advanced features. Attendees of the conference will also learn about new product offerings and experience case study presentations by many of our users.
