Load Control Receivers (LCR) Cooper Power Systems’ Demand Response Load Control Receivers offer a variety of application oriented Load Control Receivers—with wide configurability and a choice of communications. Multiple Load Enclosure LCRs Cooper Power Systems’ Multiple Load Enclosure (LCR) series consists of distinct models that are differentiated by communications method.
This LCR model contains three individual addressable relays and a combination 5-amp and 30-amp relays.
This multi-relay enclosure features an internal wiring compartment and multiple transformer configurations for electric water heat, pool pump, multi-HVAC unit and commercial HVAC control. The multiple load enclosure LCR also includes internal wire compartment, and a variety of voltage configuration and commercial and industrial (C&I) applications. It is frequency agile and frequency redundant to ensure maximum communication flexibility. Single Load Enclosure LCRs Cooper Power Systems’ Single Load Enclosure Load Control Receiver (LCR) series consists of three distinct models that are differentiated by communications method. These are single load, small foot print packages designed to provide the quickest and most effective installation in single-load air conditioner control applications. Cooper Power Systems’ Single Enclosure LCR series consists of three distinct models that are differentiated by communications method.
Each LCR in the series contains a single addressable 5-amp or a 30-amp relay. Cooper Power Systems’ single load, small footprint package is the quickest and most effective installation for single load air conditioner control applications. LCR Benefits ExpressCom Protocol. The ExpressCom protocol provides advanced addressing, and feature options while minimizing communication bandwidth requirements and cost. ExpressCom is supported in all of the Cooper Power Systems LCR devices. The value to the utility is to provide flexible control and addressing features without having to re-program installed equipment. ExpressCom allows for complex messaging in one short burst which makes multiple messages unnecessary in most cases. Agile RF Front Ends with Automatic Failover. All Cooper Power Systems’ radio frequency (RF) devices have frequency agile receivers with the option of supporting a “failover” air-time provider. Cooper Power Systems is the only vendor to offer this feature in all RF products and it can prove very valuable versus other solutions which are hard coded to a single frequency for life. Our RF devices “listen” for messages to arrive on multiple frequencies. This feature greatly increases the probability of messages being received and acted upon by the load control device. Complete Over the Air Programmability. All devices are over-the-air programmable, meaning the utility has the ability to change frequencies and CAP codes to ensure best performance. The utility benefits by having a flexible communication system that can evolve as business requirements change. Choices of Cost Effective Packaging. Cooper Power Systems offers the LCR technology in multiple load enclosures supporting the installation of up to three relays in the device chassis. Each LCR in the series contains individual addressable relays, a combination of 5-amp and 30-amp relays. This feature allows the utility to deliver very cost effective controls to clients for loads in addition to air conditioning for residential, small commercial and industrial applications. Cooper Power Systems offers multiple-relay LCR-5200 and LCR-5000. Please note that the exteriors of these devices are visually identical. Load Control Receiver Benefits
